POSITIVITY OR NEGATIVITY, YOUR CHOICE MATTERS

In reality, what we see actually matters, though what we hear may be deceptive but what we prophess really, really counts.
Welcome back to DAVE WORLD MEDIA.
Formal President Muhammadu Buhari Exiting Aso-Vila

In the light of various circumstances surrounding our dear country Nigeria, I have watch videos and listened to audios of Prophets and Pastors predicting the bloody and disastrous disintegration of our blessed federation...
Meanwhile, I also have heard and seen videos of pastors/Prophets speaking positively about Nigeria's coming glorious future, asserting that God Almighty has good purposes for gathering us together as a nation...
In fact, beginning from the time former president Muhammadu Buhari resume office in 2015, the nation has received much negative prophesies, unpleasant occurrences but till moment, out blessed country still stands and enduring.

Yes... during the 2023 presidential campaign, we've heard series of prophesies over who and who will emerge as president elect, now we understand and we know who just got sworn-in and governing from the state house thereby manifesting the opposite...
Nevertheless, whatever the case be, we Nigerias know what is good for us and still can collectively attain it with no deviance! The nation has come a very long way Faced with a lot of negativities and overcame and getting adherent and stronger. Therefore from all previous experiences, *Dave-World* remains optimistic about the glorious future of Nigeria πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬ as a whole nation and her great citizens as we do believe that, there are multitudes with same positive spirit in home and diaspora.
New President Bola Ahmed Tinubu

Confidently speaking, if we continue allowing negative elements like anger, hatred, bitterness, grudges, evil utterances etc... which are the Satanic tools of destruction in our hearts, ladies and gents, those negative prophesies are eminently inevitable. Yet if we incorporate positivity, good trats rather- peace, love, unity, patriotism, Commitment, fear of God etc, Nigeria is bound for Greatness up on Greatness.
How the federation came to be or birthed is not the issue or basis for judging the future. Of course, my understanding reveals to me there are some nations doing exceedingly well in the world today but in fact had horrible beginning, past ours in Nigeria.

My fellow country men, our challenges, predicaments should teach and show us the way off to Greatness as a nation rather than the irrelevant complaints and rootless strives and other way round that has never help anybody in the nation. Learn from the children of Israel in the wilderness! The psychological problems the politicians and religious leaders have caused us is enough! We're one of the most religious nation on earth (praying heavily daily and round the year) yet we remain the most embarrassing and embattled group of people. Why? Because we extensively yielded to the brainwashing effects of desperate clerics which successfully turns us against each other and manipulative acts of unfaithful (Satanic) politicians. But for how long?
Late Obafemi Awolowo

Japan, Russia, Indonesia, China, Canada, USA, UK, UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia etc.. don't pray up to twenty percent of the prayers we offer in Nigeria. Brazil was a Spanish colony. Malaysia, Hong-Kong was a British colony like us! Of course these nations have their own challenges yet they're on top of the world and we end up praying and struggling to live in those places.

Heard beautiful, mind blowing testimonies from people away from Nigeria, those who have never at all stepped into our geopolitical borders, yet here, our attitudes spell negatively negative and otherwise owing to the poisoning of some clerics and politicians and some smooth talkers. Most of the crimes and atrocities committed by our youths could be tracked back to political, religious and traditional leaders. Sincerely, if we can change these attitudes in us positively, then we will be making a lot of great changes unknowingly and undoubtedly. Change of mindset is all we need, not change of government again and again as we often imagine.
We just accept any prophecy once it is from a man of God. Well, anybody can give a prophecy, but left for me whether to accept it or not. By God's grace, I have no room for shit!
Clamouring or agitating for disintegration, is not the real solution since we understand and believe that this step must be resulting from frustration and hardship in the nation by one way or the other, or Slightly, a handiwork of over-ambitious religious and political entities. Yet be reminded that no nation can perfectly stand on its own without adequate preparation and ultimately, know that, "if God does not build a house, the builder works in vain." But the Federal Republic of Nigeria has gone a long way and through all forms of fire as a body. So regionally, are we good or prepared for disintegration? We call ourselves the children if God but how sure are we if the disintegration of this nation is the will of the God of all nations?
"There are ways good before human eyes but the end could be self-destruct."

So in this context, what we see really matters. Yes! What do you see in Nigeria? What do you see in the elected leaders? Positiveness should be our mindset and can help us act well, minimising errors in any  presented circumstances or emerging situations and also help us to recognize and receive from God the blessings he has in stuck for us as a nation.
Nigeria National Flag

As a godly nation with possibility mindset...
Pray earnestly (build a personal relationship with YAHWEH GOD)
Work harder (be allergic to poverty)
Elect a responsible leader (one with good records)
Avoid misleading informations or prophesies (Not all clerics are spiritual)
After God, learn to trust yourself (that's how to avoid dubious people and politicians)
Do not harbour evil (expose it in time)
Love God, yourself and fellow country men (Be proud of who you are)

Pray for your leaders, love them, correct them, praise them, rebuke them, bless and never curse them, encourage and advise them,
If we can start doing, demonstrating and practicing things in the right and normal ways with good faith, I won't say, Nigeria will be great because Nigeria is being great long from the beginning already and she shall everly remain Great! You and I are the Nigerians.

How Responsive Are You To Your Neighbours When You Realise That They Are In Serious Situations??? Please Read And Share

During the World Championships in Budapest, USA; Anita Alvarez sank to the bottom of the pool.

Looking across the deck, then noticing she was under way too long, her coach, Andrea Fuentes immediately dove in, pulling her to safety. By this time, Anita was unconscious and didn’t have the capacity to paddle or help herself in any way. If coach had  not noticed, she would have drowned. So she looked for her, quickly noticed she was under for too long, Then dove in without thinking twice to save her.

This again reminds me of my own experience...
In 2007,  I went for a musical audition in Benin City of Nigeria, organised by a very popular organisation that we all are very familiar with. Throughout the exercise, I had little time to eat so by the evening I was a little bit exhausted. Because of many participants, the audition continued from 9am till around 10pm when all were dismissed so I had to stay with many other colleagues in the hotel (all from long distances) overnight before returning home and waited for my result through sms.

Luckily, the owner of the big hotel used for the event called us out to the inner courtyard designed for recreation with canopies, fine tables and plastic and wooden sofas, flowers etc. The swimming pool had two sections: one shallow, one deeper, but we were not initially allowed to swim in. Only just spend the night over and depart on the following morning.
With my energy partly depleted, I went on one of the sofa and zoom off. All of a sudden, sounds of splashing water woke me and sighted my colleagues in the water playing. So I said to myself: "Oh, we can now use the pool? Thank God!"

I quickly took off my clothes and dove Straightforward into the deeper section of the pool. You know, just like in Lagos, Benin City is always hot. It was a relief to be in the cool water after a very hot and stressful day. Now remember I said I ate nothing since I got to the venue and had spent considerable energy, singing and rehearsing before it got to my turn to face the judges/panel.

Now you know what?
Having touch the bottom of the pool, I had serious difficulty bringing myself back to the surface. In other words, I was about to get drowned. After all, I do normally and successfully swim the village rivers regardless the depth but here in Benin hotel, a swimming pool was about to claim my precious life.

Now this is where I'm going...
On the other side stood in the water a tall colleague from Ibadan. All of a sudden, I had an upward push right under me. Imagine the kind of push that sent me from the bottom to the edge so I can easily climb out. This guy did a perfect saving task. I climbed out, sat on the edge, looked around and saw him say to me with a smile, 'bro, don't swim again'.

Still breathing heavily, I asked how he detected my fault, he answered, 'I know because I saw you struggling'. Until several years after, I never really understood the huge favour the unknown colleague did me.
Ladies and gents When, When you are under an unfamiliar or unfavourable situation or circumstance for too long, who are the people that will notice you’re in trouble, look for you, dive or plunge in to push or pull you back to the surface when you lose your strength to swim or fly or walk or whatever?

And can someone count on you to be that person that would go looking and notice when they are under for too long, diving in to help or support them when they are all out of fight, fuel, strength to swim (or even fly) in these turbulent and crazy world?
Lord Jesus Christ saved Peter on different occasions according to the holy Bible...

Think about it deeply.

Reminder: New music #I_Can_Be will be online soon for listening. Thanks.

What To Know About Russia’s Wagner Mercenaries

Wagner mercenaries threaten to leave Ukraine’s front line

Politics May 5, 2023 3:17 PM EDT

A threat by the owner of private Russian military company Wagner on Friday to withdraw his fighters from the battle to seize an eastern Ukrainian city is another flareup in his dispute with Russia’s regular military over credit and tactics in the war.
Yevgeny Prigozhin, a wealthy entrepreneur with close ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin, has led the push to jump-start Russia’s stalemated offensive in eastern Ukraine’s Donetsk province. He threatened to pull out his soldiers from the city of Bakhmut next week, citing high casualties and ammunition shortages.
Russia’s nine-month campaign to take Bakhmut has made the city the focus of the war’s longest battle. Ferocious house-to house fighting there has produced some of the bloodiest encounters since Russia sent troops into Ukraine in February 2022.
Here is a look at Wagner’s history and its role in the fighting.

What is the background of Wagner’s leader?

Prigozhin, who received a 12-year prison term in 1981 on charges of robbery and assault, started a restaurant business in St. Petersburg in the early 1990s following his release from prison. It was in this capacity that he got to know Putin, the city’s deputy mayor at the time.
Prigozhin used his connection with Putin to develop a catering business and won lucrative Russian government contracts that earned him the nickname “Putin’s chef.” He later expanded into other areas, including media outlets and an infamous “troll factory” that led to his indictment in the U.S. for meddling in the 2016 presidential election.
In January, Prigozhin, 61, acknowledged founding, leading and financing the shadowy Wagner company.

Where has Wagner worked?

Wagner was first spotted in action in eastern Ukraine soon after a separatist conflict erupted there in April 2014, weeks after Russia’s annexation of Ukraine’s Crimean Peninsula.
While backing the separatist insurgency in the Donbas, Ukraine’s eastern industrial heartland, Russia denied sending its own weapons and troops there despite ample evidence to the contrary. Engaging private contractors in the fighting allowed Moscow to maintain a degree of deniability.
Prigozhin’s company was called Wagner after the nickname of its first commander, Dmitry Utkin, a retired lieutenant colonel of the Russian military’s special forces. It soon established a reputation for its extreme brutality and ruthlessness.

Wagner personnel also deployed to Syria, where Russia supported President Bashar Assad’s government in a civil war. In Libya, they fought alongside forces of commander Khalifa Hifter. The group has also operated in the Central African Republic and Mali.
Prigozhin has reportedly used Wagner’s deployment to Syria and African countries to secure lucrative mining contracts. U.S. Undersecretary of State Victoria Nuland told members of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in January that the company was using its access to gold and other resources in Africa to fund its operations in Ukraine.
Some Russian media have alleged that Wagner was involved in the July 2018 killings of three Russian journalists in the Central African Republic who were investigating the group’s activities. The slayings remain unsolved.

What is the group’s reputation?

Western countries and U.N. experts have accused Wagner mercenaries of committing human rights abuses throughout Africa, including in the Central African Republic, Libya and Mali.
In December 2021, the European Union accused the group of “serious human rights abuses, including torture and extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions and killings,” and of carrying out “destabilizing activities” in the Central African Republic, Libya, Syria and Ukraine.
Video footage has surfaced that purported to show some of the activities that have contributed to Wagner’s fearsome reputation.
A 2017 video posted online showed a group of armed people, reported to be Wagner contractors, torturing a Syrian man, beating him to death with a sledgehammer and cutting his head before mutilating and burning his body. Russian authorities ignored requests by the media and rights activists to investigate.
In November 2022, another video showed a former Wagner contractor beaten to death with a sledgehammer after he allegedly fled to the Ukrainian side and was recaptured. Despite public outrage and demands for an investigation, the Kremlin turned a blind eye.

What is Wagner’s role in Ukraine?

Wagner has taken an increasingly visible role in the war in Ukraine as regular Russian troops have suffered heavy attrition and lost control over territory in humiliating setbacks.
Prigozhin claimed full credit in January for capturing the Donetsk region salt-mining town of Soledar and accused the Russian Defense Ministry of trying to steal Wagner’s glory. He has repeatedly complained that the Russian military failed to supply Wagner with sufficient ammunition to capture Bakhmut, the reason he cited Friday for his withdrawal threat.
Prigozhin has toured Russian prisons to recruit fighters, promising inmates pardons if they survived a half-year tour of front-line duty with Wagner.

The U.S. estimates Wagner has about 50,000 personnel fighting in Ukraine, including 10,000 contractors and 40,000 of the convicts the company enlisted.
A U.S. official says nearly half of the 20,000 Russian forces killed in Ukraine since December have been Wagner’s troops in Bakhmut.
The U.S. assesses that Wagner is spending about $100 million a month in the fight .In December, the United States accused North Korea of supplying weapons, including rockets and missiles, to the Russian company in violation of U.N. Security Council resolutions.
Both Wagner and North Korea denied the reports.

How has Wagner’s leader criticized Russia’s military?

If the U.S. accusation is true, Wagner’s reach for North Korean weapons may reflect its long-running dispute with the Russian military leadership, which dates back to the company’s creation.
Troops purported to be Wagner contractors on the front line in Ukraine recorded a video in which they showered the chief of the Russian military’s General Staff, Gen. Valery Gerasimov, with curses for the alleged failure to provide ammunition.
Prigozhin himself accuses top-ranking Russian military officers of incompetence. His frequent complaints are unprecedented for Russia’s tightly controlled political system, in which only Putin could air such criticism.
Prigozhin has increasingly raised his public profile, issuing daily messaging app statements to boast about Wagner’s purported victories, sardonically mock his enemies and make complaints about Russia’s military brass.

Asked recently about a media comparison of him with Grigory Rasputin, a mystic who gained fatal influence over Russia’s last czar by claiming to have the power to cure his son’s hemophilia, Prigozhin snapped: “I don’t stop blood, but I spill blood of the enemies of our Motherland.”

Will Wagner really withdraw from Bakhmut?

Yohann Michel, a research analyst with the International Institute for Strategic Studies think tank, took Prigozhin’s threat with “a shovel of salt, at least, or maybe a truck.”
Michel said Prigozhin might want to regroup without being accused of retreating; he may worry about being fired for not taking the city and prefer to say he left on his own; or he could genuinely need more ammunition.
“The only thing I am taking seriously from that declaration is that Bakhmut is probably not ready to fall,” Michel, who is based in Berlin, said.
If Prigozhin did pull Wagner’s troops out of Bakhmut, it would have serious implications, according to Michel said.
“If he’s removed from the front line — except if Russia surprisingly has reserves that they did not want to use before — I think we can say it is the end of this phase of the offensive for Russia,” he said.
